This class is a basic introduction to the runes of the Elder Futhark, the alphabet/magickal symbols used by the ancient Norse peoples. We will review the history of the Norse people, mythology that inspired the runes, the basic meaning behind each rune and how it reflects a part of their cosmology. You will also learn a casting method that is easy for beginners. *Please bring a set of runes in order to get the most out of the class. They will also be for sale at Mondazzi’s!
