Join Melissa for a relaxing crafty morning creating your own beautiful mala! You’ve probably seen the beaded bracelets and necklaces before, a mala is a string of beads used as a meditation tool to help you focus and calm the mind. Learn about the ancient history of the mala and how to incorporate it into your daily life to reduce stress also learn how to tap into the remarkable healing properties of the beads. Choose from a variety of carefully selected sacred wood beads from Bali, lava beads from Iceland, charms and tassels to personalize your mala. Essential oils will be available if you’d like to infuse your lava beads to create an aromatherapy mala.
Prepayment is required. Class is $25.00 and includes supplies, please save your spot by calling 860-285-0538.
Additional mala making kits can be purchased for $15.00 each to take home with you.
